Top Things to Do in Auckland – Waiheke Island
A seaside paradise close to Auckland! Explore its picturesque vineyards and green pastures. Its only takes 40 min by ferry from Auckland’s Viaduct. Once you are on the island you can ride the ‘ hop on hop off ‘ bus or you can ride the local bus. The Island is full of wineries located all with stunning views. So enjoying food and a glass of wine at one of the many vineyards is a beautiful way to spend your time. I would recommend visiting the island on a wine tour to get the most of it.

I also recommend visiting the Sky Deck too as that might be one of the highest points you can get on southern hemisphere. If you are feeling adventurous – jump off it or perhaps do the sky walk. It’s a 140m walk, 192m up above the streets below, the walk takes about 75 minutes overall including gearing up, the safety checks and prep.
