Parnell is the oldest suburb in Auckland. It takes 10 minutes from the central of Auckland by link bus and Auckland tour bus. In Parnell village, there are unique and diverse galleries and shops and also you can enjoy dinner and drinks at a range of cafes, restaurants, bars. If you visit to Parnell village, you will feel different atmosphere with unique, modern, and antique from the city. In addition, I would recommend visiting to the French Market on Saturday and Sunday for fresh and delicious fruits, cheeses, homemade breads and foods.
Sightseeing in Auckland – Devonport
Devonport is one of the oldest Auckland suburbs and the perfect short trip destination for travellers. It only takes 12 minutes by ferry across harbour from downtown Auckland. Devonport beaches are the best place during summer and perfect for families to have a fun. If you want to relax and have various experiences, you need to visit to the small village centre in Devonport. There are many boutique shops, cafes, restaurants with great food, and galleries. Also, I would recommend walking up Mt Victoria with having spectacular and beautiful views of Auckland City and North Shore.
